German–India Round Table in Cologne Highlights Expanding Trade & Investment Opportunities

The Consulate General of India, Frankfurt organized a German–India Round Table in Cologne, bringing together business leaders and stakeholders to explore expanding economic partnerships.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Bhupendra Nikhurpa, Consul (Commerce & Trade), highlighted the steadily growing trade relations between 🇮🇳 and 🇩🇪, noting that the recently concluded 🇮🇳–🇪🇺 Free Trade Agreement will significantly benefit businesses in both regions. He encouraged companies from business, IT and allied sectors to consider India as a key destination for expansion and investment.
Speakers and participants also emphasized India’s skilled workforce, efficient transportation network, expanding airports and ports, and strong support from the Government of India and state governments — reaffirming India’s position as a preferred destination for German and EU businesses.
