Towards innovative and sustainable health systems!
The 4th India–UK Joint Working Group on Health, held in London last week, marked a significant milestone in strengthening India–UK health sector cooperation. The meeting reflected the shared vision of both countries to collaborate closely in building resilient, inclusive, and future-ready healthcare systems.
Led by Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, DCGI, CDSCO, the discussions focused on key priority areas identified under the renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). These included advancing digital health solutions, enhancing supply chain resilience, strengthening the global health workforce, and addressing the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance.
The Joint Working Group provided a valuable platform for exchanging best practices, aligning policy priorities, and identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration across public health systems, regulatory frameworks, and innovation ecosystems. The deliberations underscored the importance of cooperation in responding to global health challenges while ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare.
The meeting reaffirmed the strong commitment of India and the United Kingdom to working together towards the shared goal of #HealthForAll, reinforcing the strategic partnership through innovation, knowledge exchange, and sustainable health solutions.
