Along with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Prime Minister Narendra Modi co-chaired the India–EU Business Forum, bringing together leading business representatives from both India and the European Union.
The discussions highlighted the depth and strength of the India–EU economic partnership, with a focus on key sectors including trade and investment, manufacturing, digital and emerging technologies, clean energy and green transition, mobility and skills, startups and innovation, infrastructure, and resilient supply chains.
Coming on the heels of the successful conclusion of negotiations on the historic India–EU Free Trade Agreement, the Forum is set to inject fresh momentum into business-to-business cooperation. It opens pathways to deepen collaboration, unlock new opportunities, create jobs, and drive sustainable growth—ensuring that India and the EU grow together in an evolving global economy.
