Strengthening India-Germany Business Ties at IHK Giessen-Friedberg
Ms. Shuchita Kishore, Consul General, and Mr. Bhupendra Nikhurpa, Consul (Commerce & Trade), attended a luncheon meeting hosted by Dr. Matthias Leder, CEO, IHK Giessen-Friedberg, along with Ms. Marina Franca Leder and Mr. Nobert Noisser, Senior Advisor (International) on 16 January 2026.
The discussions highlighted the emerging geopolitical scenario, the anticipated ๐ฎ๐ณ-๐ช๐บ Free Trade Agreement, and the valuable contributions of the Indian diaspora in ๐ฉ๐ชโs IT, finance, and business sectors.
Dr. Leder also shared insights on IHK operations, including the popular โWorld meets Giessenโ initiative, and invited the Consul General to participate in the annual business meeting. Plans were discussed for a dedicated ๐ฎ๐ณ business roundtable to showcase investment opportunities and government schemes supporting Invest & Make in India.
