Strengthening India-Germany Business Ties at IHK Giessen-Friedberg
Ms. Shuchita Kishore, Consul General, and Mr. Bhupendra Nikhurpa, Consul (Commerce & Trade), attended a luncheon meeting hosted by Dr. Matthias Leder, CEO, IHK Giessen-Friedberg, along with Ms. Marina Franca Leder and Mr. Nobert Noisser, Senior Advisor (International) on 16 January 2026.
The discussions highlighted the emerging geopolitical scenario, the anticipated 🇮🇳-🇪🇺 Free Trade Agreement, and the valuable contributions of the Indian diaspora in 🇩🇪’s IT, finance, and business sectors.
Dr. Leder also shared insights on IHK operations, including the popular “World meets Giessen” initiative, and invited the Consul General to participate in the annual business meeting. Plans were discussed for a dedicated 🇮🇳 business roundtable to showcase investment opportunities and government schemes supporting Invest & Make in India.
