Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Shri S Krishnan paid a successful visit to Germany from 15–16 January 2026.
He attended the Annual Meeting of the 🇮🇳–🇩🇪 Digital Dialogue with BMDS State Secretary Prof. Dr. Louis Hölscher and signed the Work Plan for 2026–27. The visit also included engagements with Fraunhofer IZM, semiconductor facilities of GlobalFoundries and Infineon Technologies, along with two roundtables with tech companies, think-tanks, and government officials.
Discussions focused on opportunities and pathways in AI manufacturing and Digital Sovereignty.
