India Germany Partnership Strengthened Through MoU on Green Hydrogen Regulations and Standards

To further advance cooperation on the development of Green Hydrogen regulations and standards in India, the Leaders welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) and the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water Industries (DVGW).

This collaboration will promote knowledge sharing and technical cooperation in critical areas such as safety standards and regulations, testing protocols, environmental protection, and standardization. The partnership will benefit from DVGW’s extensive expertise in gas-sector safety, hygiene, and regulatory frameworks, supporting India’s transition towards a sustainable green hydrogen ecosystem.
