India–EU Trade Talks Gain Momentum | Productive Engagement in Brussels
Maros Sefcovic, EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, hosted his counterpart and friend Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, for an intensive two-day round of discussions in Brussels.
The talks focused on advancing a balanced, fair, and mutually beneficial trade and investment agreement to further strengthen European Union–India relations.
Good progress was made, open issues narrowed, and clear strategic guidance was provided to negotiating teams—reflecting strong political resolve on both sides.
With shared ambition and aligned economic priorities, both sides agreed to move forward at full pace in the coming days.
