The Philippines and Hungary reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral economic cooperation during the 7th Philippines–Hungary Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation (JCEC) held in Budapest.
The discussions focused on expanding collaboration in trade and investment, agriculture, science and technology, energy, climate change, education, labor, and people-to-people exchanges, reflecting a shared vision for sustainable and innovation-driven growth.
Both sides welcomed continued high-level engagements, signed the JCEC Protocol, and agreed to further strengthen partnerships ahead of the 8th JCEC to be hosted by the Philippines next year—underscoring the enduring and forward-looking Philippines–Hungary partnership.
