Consulate Engages with IHK Mainz to Expand Bilateral Trade

CG Ms. Shuchita Kishore and Consul (Commerce) Mr. Bhupendra Singh Nikhurpa visited the IHK in Mainz as part of the Consulate’s ongoing outreach efforts.

CG met with Ms. Karina Szwede, CEO, IHK Rheinhessen, and Ms. Ute Lachmayer, Head of the India Desk, International Department.
Since 2024, IHK Rheinhessen has been operating an active India Desk to further boost 🇮🇳🇩🇪 bilateral trade and support investment from Rhineland-Palatinate into India.

The Chamber represents 42,750 member companies, contributing nearly 54% of Germany’s total exports. Major companies from the region include Ditsch, Biontech, Boehringer Ingelheim, Schott, Bericap, and others—highlighting the economic strength and innovation potential of Rhineland-Palatinate.
