Ambassador Kumar was warmly received by Ambassador Markus Leitner, Head of the Asia-Pacific Division at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, during his recent visit.
The two sides held productive discussions on the current trajectory of India–Switzerland bilateral relations, covering cooperation across political, economic, technological and people-to-people domains. They highlighted the importance of maintaining momentum in ties through regular high-level exchanges, stronger institutional dialogue mechanisms and collaborative initiatives.
Amb. Kumar underlined India’s commitment to deepening engagement with Switzerland in areas such as trade & investment, innovation, research, skills, sustainability, and global challenges. Both sides also exchanged perspectives on regional and international developments of shared interest.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared vision of 🇮🇳🤝🇨🇭 towards building a forward-looking partnership that continues to bring mutual growth and prosperity.
