Today, India’s delegation, led by Dr. S. Jaishankar, joined other Heads of State and government from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) for a high-level meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. The discussions focused on regional cooperation, multilateral engagement, and strengthening economic, political, and cultural ties among SCO member countries.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for bilateral conversations, helping India and Russia further consolidate their partnership across various sectors, including trade, technology, energy, and people-to-people links. This engagement reflects India’s active role in promoting cooperation and dialogue within the SCO framework.
