Ambassador R. Ravindra visited the Húsavík Exploration Museum today, where he delivered an insightful presentation on India’s rapidly advancing Space Programme. He highlighted the remarkable achievements of ISRO—from landmark missions such as Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan to India’s growing capabilities in satellite technology, launch vehicles, and space applications benefiting various sectors.
During the visit, Ambassador Ravindra also engaged in an enriching conversation with noted journalist Ms. Tira Shubart. Their discussion covered ISRO’s future exploration roadmap, including upcoming lunar and planetary missions, international collaborations, emerging opportunities for startups, and India’s vision for peaceful and sustainable use of outer space.
The visit further underscored the increasing global interest in India’s space initiatives and the potential for deeper cooperation in scientific research and space exploration.
