Hon’ble EAM @DrSJaishankar had a warm and productive meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul in Niagara today.
The discussion focused on taking forward the India–Germany Strategic Partnership, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to expanding cooperation in emerging technologies, green energy, trade, mobility, and skills development.
They also reviewed India–EU relations, highlighting shared democratic values and the importance of deeper engagement to address global challenges.
The leaders exchanged perspectives on key regional developments, including the evolving situation in the Middle East/West Asia, stability and security in the Indo-Pacific, and the humanitarian and political situation in Afghanistan.
Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination and continue building on the positive momentum in bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
