At the 15th European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises held in Katowice, Mr. Mohan Lal, Economic Counsellor at the Embassy of India, participated in a panel discussion titled “Beyond Borders: Poland–India Partnership in Practice” under the International Talk segment on 27 October.
In her opening address, Member of the Sejm, Ms. Urszula Koszutska, highlighted the significance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Poland and emphasized the growing importance of bilateral relations marked by the establishment of a Strategic Partnership.
Representatives from Poland’s Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice joined the discussion, underscoring the expanding trade and investment opportunities between the two nations.
Co-panelists, including the Managing Director of TZMO India and the Co-Founder of the Polish law firm Legally Smart, shared their success stories and experiences of engaging with the Indian market, illustrating the potential for collaboration between Polish and Indian enterprises.
The session reflected the mutual commitment of both countries to deepen cooperation in entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable business development through closer SME engagement.
