Consul General Ms. Shuchita Kishore met Dr. Hubertus Hille, CEO, and Mr. Armin Heider, International Business Division Manager, Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), in Bonn on 7 November 2025.
The Bonn/Rhein-Sieg IHK, a key institution in shaping the region’s economic landscape, represents around 56,000 member companies from the industrial, trade, and service sectors in the Federal City of Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg District. It plays a pivotal role in promoting innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable growth across the region.
During the meeting, both sides engaged in meaningful discussions on strengthening mutual cooperation, exploring investment and business opportunities between India and the Bonn region. Topics of discussion included geopolitical developments and their impact on trade, as well as collaboration in areas such as green energy, climate action, and sustainable technology.
Dr. Hille acknowledged and appreciated the valuable contributions of the Indian diaspora and students in Bonn, recognizing their role in fostering cross-cultural exchange and supporting local economic and academic ecosystems.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment to enhancing India–Germany economic partnerships and promoting bilateral engagement across emerging sectors of mutual interest.
