Ambassador Ajit Gupte addressed the 🇮🇳–🇩🇪 Round Table on “Opportunities for German SMEs in India,” held in Stuttgart on 23 July 2025. The event was organised by the Honorary Consul of India in Stuttgart, Mr. Andreas Lapp.
In his remarks, Ambassador Gupte emphasised the strong B2B linkages between Indian companies and those from the state of Baden-Württemberg. He outlined the numerous investment opportunities available for German SMEs in India, supported by business-friendly policies and incentive frameworks.
The Ambassador also highlighted the success of the Make in India Mittelstand (#MIIM) programme, which has played a key role in facilitating German SME investments in India.
The round table witnessed a productive exchange of ideas between Indian and German entrepreneurs on deepening bilateral SME collaboration and innovation partnerships.
