🇮🇳🤝🇩🇪 Maharashtra Business Day 2025 – Frankfurt
On June 7, 2025, the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt, in collaboration with Marathi Katta Germany e.V. and the Marathi Diaspora, hosted Maharashtra Business Day 2025 at Saalbau Bornheim, Frankfurt. The event promoted Indo-German cooperation in trade, investment, and innovation, spotlighting Maharashtra as a key economic hub.
Consul General B. S. Mubarak welcomed Hon’ble Shri Uday Samant, Maharashtra’s Minister for Industries, who announced:
500 acres for German manufacturing firms in Maharashtra
100 acres for Non-Resident Maharashtrians (NRMs) to set up industries
Shri P. Velrasu (IAS), CEO of MIDC, presented Maharashtra’s investor-friendly policies, while Shri Ajit Ranade launched the Maharashtra Europe Business Forum (MEBF) to strengthen EU ties.
Over 600 participants attended, including diaspora members and experts from Germany, India, the US, UK, and across Europe. The event featured panel discussions on trade, startups, investment, and women’s entrepreneurship, with contributions from leaders like Ms. Cornelia Gartner (BVMW) and Mr. Stephan Wittekind (Innovation Hub RheinMain).
The contribution of entrepreneur Shri Bharat Gite was specially acknowledged during the event.
