Indian Business Forum Hosts Dynamic Business Networking Event in Düsseldorf

The Indian Business Forum (IBF), an initiative of the Consulate General of India in Frankfurt, successfully organized a vibrant business networking event in North Rhine-Westphalia. Held at the iconic Zentralbibliothek in KAP1, located in the heart of Düsseldorf, the event brought together a diverse gathering of professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from the Indo-German community.

North Rhine-Westphalia, one of Germany’s most influential economic regions, includes key cities such as Aachen, Bochum, Bonn, Cologne, Dortmund, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Essen, Münster, Solingen, and Wuppertal.

Consul General of India in Frankfurt, Mr. B. S. Mubarak, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the growing synergies between India and Germany and the importance of platforms like IBF in fostering bilateral cooperation.

The event featured distinguished speakers from leading global corporations:

• Bijoy Sagar, EVP and Chief Information Technology and Digital Transformation Officer (CIDO), Bayer AG, spoke on “Leading Across Borders – Global Lessons for a Connected Diaspora.”
• Kunal Chandra, Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer, RWE AG (Clean Energy), addressed “Opportunities for India in the Energy Transition Landscape.”
• Felix Fröhlich, Senior Project Manager – India, Wirtschaftsförderung Düsseldorf, presented the newly established Indien Kompetenzzentrum Düsseldorf (IKD), aimed at supporting Indian businesses in the region.

A dynamic panel discussion titled “From Insight to Impact: Empowering Indian Professionals in NRW” was moderated by Reema K., Senior Manager at Vodafone Germany. The panel featured:
