A roundtable conference titled “Strengthening Digital Inclusion – Promoting Skilled Workers, Shaping the Future Together!” was held on 13th May at the City Parliament House in Frankfurt. The event was hosted by Mr. Rahul Kumar, Member of City Parliament, Frankfurt.
Consul General Mr. B.S. Mubarak participated as the Keynote Speaker and provided insights into India’s skilled manpower ecosystem. He highlighted India’s significant contributions to digitalization, particularly the role of Indian IT companies in supporting the digital transformation of Germany’s Mittelstand.
Frankfurt’s Lord Mayor, Mr. Mike Josef, in his address, emphasized the pressing challenges of skilled manpower shortage and digitalization in Germany. He commended the valuable role played by Indian professionals in addressing these gaps.
Ms. Ursula Busch, Chairwoman of the SPD Parliamentary Group Frankfurt, warmly welcomed the Consul General and praised the Indian diaspora for their positive impact across diverse sectors.
The event also featured participation from Indian experts, including representatives from the National Skill Development Council, who shared an overview of India’s skilling initiatives. Business leaders and government representatives were among the attendees, fostering a meaningful dialogue on digital collaboration and workforce development.
