International Trade Day 2025 – Gothenburg
The Embassy of India proudly participated in Western Sweden’s largest international trade event, held at the iconic World of Volvo venue in Gothenburg. Organized by Exportcenter Väst and the West Sweden Chamber of Commerce, the event brought together over 400 business leaders, trade experts, and innovators from a wide range of sectors.
A major highlight of the event was the dynamic exhibition area, where representatives from nine key international markets engaged with attendees, alongside Business Sweden and various Stockholm-based embassies. The Embassy of India showcased its presence in close collaboration with Business Sweden.
The day featured expert-led seminars and high-level discussions focused on global trade trends and business development. A special session on business opportunities and trade in India offered valuable insights into the country’s expanding economic significance. Ms. Sofia Högman, Trade Commissioner of Sweden to India, delivered the keynote address for the session.
International Trade Day continues to serve as a vital platform for building global partnerships, highlighting market opportunities, and fostering strong connections between Sweden and the world.
