Ambassador Shambhu Kumaran gave India’s country statement during the 52nd meeting of UNIDO’s Industrial Development Board, recognizing the organization’s pivotal role in advancing industrial development worldwide. He underlined that in order to guarantee long-term effects and sustainable growth, projects must be financially feasible. Ambassador Kumaran also emphasized how crucial technology transfer is to the Global South, calling for increased collaboration in the exchange of technological innovations to aid in the industrialization of poor countries. This is consistent with India’s overarching goal of inclusive global development and South-South cooperation.
