A highly successful consular camp was organized by the Embassy of India in collaboration with the Utrecht Indian Community Consortium (UICC) in Utrecht on 22nd March 2025. The event aimed to provide streamlined access to a variety of consular services for the Indian diaspora residing in the region. During the camp, more than 130 applications were received and processed, addressing the community’s needs for key services such as OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cards, passport renewals and issuances, birth certificates, and surrender certificates.
This initiative was a valuable opportunity for the Indian community in Utrecht and the surrounding areas, allowing them to access essential consular services conveniently without needing to travel to the Embassy. The camp provided a platform for addressing concerns, resolving queries, and ensuring a smooth processing experience for applicants.
The Embassy expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and emphasized its commitment to organizing such outreach initiatives in the future, as part of its broader efforts to connect with the Indian diaspora and make consular services more accessible to all. The success of the camp was also a testament to the strong collaboration between the Embassy and the Utrecht Indian Community Consortium (UICC), whose efforts contributed significantly to the camp’s smooth execution.
