Announcement of
Scholarships at Indian Universities
for the academic year 2024-2025
The Embassy/High Commission of India in Paramaribo is pleased to inform that, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is offering various Scholarship slots for the academic year 2024-25, for the students from Suriname, Barbados, Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines as under:
1. Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (A1201), (formerly known as the General Scholarship Scheme) to pursue Undergraduate, Graduate and PhD courses (except medical courses) in Indian Universities/Institutes.
2. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Cultural Exchange Scholarship Scheme (A1206), (formerly known as the Cultural Exchange Programe) to pursue Post Graduate and PhD courses (except medical courses) in Indian Universities/Institutes
3. Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music Scholarship Scheme (A1209) to pursue study of Indian Culture such as dance, music, theatre, performing art, sculpture, Indian languages, Indian cuisine, etc.
4. Tentative timeline:
Application Start Date: February 20, 2024
End Date: April 30, 2024
