India in Ireland (Embassy of India, Dublin) organized an event over the Indian state of West Bengal under the initiative of “State Cultural Event Series” with the participation of Indian community members and friends of India. Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra addressed the gathering. There were cultural performances, comprehensive presentation on the state including people, culture, tourism, participants in traditional attire, exhibition of handicrafts and authentic cuisine.
