Dear Friends, I thought this might be useful information for some of you, so I decided to share it here with you all. Please note that this is my personal experience and not the official information from the Indian High Commission/Embassy.
I strongly recommend you to contact Indin High Commission/Embassy in the country where you are residing. Recommended is a direct phone call. Please do not hesitate and ask them about every small thing. Make your Checklist and when you are ready to submit your application, once again call them and confirm everything. Please double-check everything with them before traveling and submitting your Application.
Yesterday I successfully submitted my application to the Embassy of India in Kyiv Ukraine with my permanent address changed in New Delhi. The address mentioned in my current passport is not valid now for me and there is none there who can confirm the police verification. Below is step by step full procedure for submitting my application for passport renewal with the Indian High Commission in Ukraine.
1: Create an account by registering yourself in the link below.

2: Apply for your passport renewal.
3: Select the country from where you will be submitting your application because the address of the Indian Embassy in the country selected by you will be automatically attached to your application.
4: Please fill in all the information very carefully, Your Name, new address, Police station, etc. Once you submit your application you will not be able to edit it. If you are not sure about something, You can save your application at that point, and once you have confirmed the information you can again start it from there.
Providing proof of change of address was very simple and straightforward. You can provide one of the options below as proof of change of address.
1: Aadhar card of your Father/Mother with the new address
or
2: Aadhar card of your Brother/Sister with new address with Father,s Name.
or
3: Scanned copy of Father/Mother,s passport with new Address.
or
4:
Scanned copy of your Brother/Sister,s Passport with the new address.
5: Driving license of any of your family members with your Father,s Name and your new address on it.
6: Any Government issued ID Card or document of one of your family members with your Father,s Name and your New Address.
7: Ration Card.
Please collect as many as options mentioned above to be on the safe side and make color prints of them.
You will also submit 2 passport-size photographs on white background, a Copy of all 36 pages of your current passport, Copy of the document which allows you to live in the country legally from where you are submitting your application.
