Process to get Switzerland VISA From India

SWITZERLAND VISA FROM INDIA:

Yes, Switzerland isn’t part of the European Union , the Schengen Area is made up of countries. This means you will need a Swiss visa. If you are applying from India.

TYPES OF SWISS VISAS:

  • Short-term Swiss visas: These visas allow you to stay for up to 90 days in order to travel or do short-term business.
  • Non-Immigrant visas: These are temporary visas that can be used for longer periods of time, such as to study or work.
  • Immigrant visas: Long-term visas are available for people who wish to remain in Switzerland permanently or for a long-term.

How much does a Switzerland Visa cost from India?

 The visa fees for adults to Switzerland are EUR60, or approx. Rs. 3600, Children aged 8-18 years old can apply for a visa to Switzerland at EUR30, or approx. Rs. 2800.

 

Students from non-EU/EFTA countries will need a visa in order to enter Switzerland. They can apply at the Swiss embassy in their home country. They must also apply for a residence permit once they have arrived in Switzerland.

Non-EU/EFTA Students can apply for two types of visas:

  • C Visa–  is a short-time visa that allows its keeper to reside in Switzerland for a short period of time( < 90 days).
  • D Visa – is a long-time visa for people looking to study, work, or reside in Switzerland( > 90 days).

Documents required to obtain a STUDENT VISA for Switzerland:

  • Signed and filled out three forms of “Applications for long-stay Visa”
  • Motivation letter
  • Fee for visa Euro 60
  • Qualifications and certificates of education required
  • Four passport-size pictures not older that 6 months
  • Passport (3 months valid beyond the planned stay)
  • Swiss University issues a letter of acceptance
  • Original and copy of proof of payment of tuition and registration fees
  • Evidence of sufficient financial resources to cover living costs in Switzerland during the course of your studies.
  • Letter from an institution informing that all expenses will be covered by a loan or scholarship
  • You must be ready to leave Switzerland when you have completed your studies

Documents required to obtain a WORK VISA for Switzerland:

  • Signed and filled out three forms of “Applications for long-stay Visa”
  • Your CV.
  • Motivation letter.
  • Fee for visa Euro
  • Qualifications and certificates of education required
  • Four 4x passport-size pictures not older that 6 months
  • Passport (3 months valid beyond the planned stay)
  • Last 3 month’s salary slips and the last 3 month’s salary bank account statements
  • Personal Income Tax Return for the last 2 years
  • Evidence of sufficient financial resources to cover living costs in Switzerland during the course of your studies.
  • You must be ready to leave Switzerland when you have completed your studies
