Telangana Association of Denmark Meets Ambassador Manish Prabhat Ahead of Bathukamma and Dasara Celebrations 2026
The Board Members of the Telangana Association of Denmark (TAD) met with H.E. Mr. Manish Prabhat, Ambassador of India to Denmark, to extend a cordial invitation to the upcoming Bathukamma and Dasara Festival, scheduled to take place on 24 October 2026.
During the meeting, Ambassador Manish Prabhat thanked the TAD representatives for their warm invitation and appreciated their efforts to preserve and promote Telangana’s rich cultural heritage and traditions in Denmark.
The Ambassador encouraged TAD to actively participate in various initiatives and programmes organised by the Government of India for the Indian diaspora, including Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) 2027, Youth PBD 2027, and the Know India Programme (KIP).
He also advised the association to begin preparations for the next edition of Namaste Denmark, which is likely to be held in 2027, highlighting opportunities to showcase India’s vibrant cultural diversity.
A special highlight of the meeting was the release of the official posters for the upcoming Bathukamma and Dasara celebrations.
Ambassador Manish Prabhat extended his best wishes to the Telangana Association of Denmark for the success of its forthcoming celebrations and encouraged the association to regularly share details of its cultural and community activities with the Embassy for wider publicity and outreach.
The meeting reflected the continued commitment of the Indian Embassy and the Telangana diaspora in Denmark to strengthening cultural connections, promoting Indian traditions, and fostering greater community engagement.
