A Grand and Festive Celebration of Sri Jagannatha Ratha Yatra in the Heart of Rome.
The vibrant and spiritually uplifting Sri Jagannatha Ratha Yatra was celebrated with great fervour and devotion in central Rome, bringing the essence of Indian culture and tradition to the historic Piazza del Popolo. Organized by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), the event attracted a large gathering of devotees, locals, tourists, and well-wishers who joined in the colorful procession and devotional festivities.
The event was graced by Her Excellency Vani Rao, Ambassador of India to Italy and San Marino, who offered her respects to Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra. In her address, Ambassador Rao highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the Ratha Yatra, noting how such events foster deeper intercultural understanding and strengthen the bonds between India and Italy.
