In order to explore potential and build ties between Norway and India, DLA Piper sponsored the NICCI Member Meeting on December 4, 2024, in their office. It was an impressive gathering of experts and leaders from a variety of industries. Ambassador Acquino Vimal gave a summary of the major bilateral interactions between India and Norway in 2024 after Rajvinder Bains (Partner, DLA Piper) and Inge Kristian Brodersen (Board Member, Norway India Chamber of Commerce & Industry, NICCI) gave a cordial welcome to the program. Among the event’s highlights were Karl Fredrik Giertsen’s (Principal Director Nordics, LTIMindtree) motivational presentation of L&T’s remarkable success story and Anagha Deodhar’s (Senior Economist, ICICI Bank) captivating virtual view on the Indian economy’s near future.
Thought leaders like Ragnvald Naerø (Smart Energy Network), Thanabal Vijayaindra (Calpa Talent), and Helge Tryti (Chairman, NICCI) participated in the panel discussion, which was facilitated by Himanshu Gulati, a member of the Norwegian Parliament. They discussed potential future collaboration opportunities between Norway and India. To bring new vitality to the network, new NICCI members including Karsten Gjefle (biological purification system), Hogne Hide (Norway Chess), and Nimit Chawat (Tata Communications) joined.
