The Indian delegation also met with Mr. Ola Strand, Chairman of Innovation Norway, and his staff during their visit to Oslo. Increased bilateral trade promotion and cooperation in R&D and innovation were the main topics of discussion, with a focus on energy transition, decarbonisation, and clean technologies like green hydrogen and battery developments. In order to improve bilateral economic and commercial interaction between the two nations, Vice Minister Mr. Barthwal urged Innovation Norway’s India office to collaborate closely with Invest India and his own Ministry in Delhi. The potential for closer ties in sustainable economic growth was also emphasised, as were the shared objectives in the Arctic initiatives, fisheries, and blue economy.
