Telugu Association of London (TAL) organized Christmas celebrations 2021 virtually on Saturday, December 4th. The event was attended by about 100 Telugu people and TAL members from several churches from London and various parts of UK. Hundreds of Telugu people around the world watched the event live on YouTube and Facebook.

Local MP Stephen Timms was the chief guest and delivered the Christmas message to all attendees. He praised TAL for their continued services and cultural activities even during Covid 19 pandemic.

TAL Vice Chairman Rajesh Toleti wished all the participants a Merry Christmas. He lauded that TAL has been working for the last 16 years with the good intention of imparting Telugu language and culture to the Telugu community in London. He appreciated Ravi Mocharla, Jemima Ratnakar Dara, Justin, Carol and Daniel Victor for their efforts in making this Christmas celebration a grand success. He extended his thanks to all those who contributed to this event.

Bro. Davis Peniel led the worship for the occasion. Rev. Paul & Sister Jeeva Gorre (USA) , Pastor Dominic, Bro. Daniel and various church leaders and elders conveyed their greetings about the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Quiz and Art work competition were held for children. Telugu parents along with their children from London and various parts of UK sang Christmas carols with music.

Rev. Dr. Joe Madhu and Rev. Dr. Jessie Veena from “Calvary Love of Jesus Ministries”, India were the special guests of the event, delivering Christmas message and offering special prayers for overcoming the challenges being faced by the humankind during this  Covid-19 pandemic.

TAL trustees Navin Gadamsethi, Kishore Kasturi, Giridhar Putlur, Anil Anantula, and Anita Nomula, along with IT team Rishi Kothakota, Vamsee Mohan Singaluri and Kiran Kapetta contributed to the event.
