Ambassador H.E. Ms. Gloria Gangte met Mr. Kapil Verma, Director, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG), Government of India, following his participation in the IEA Bioenergy TCP ExCo 96 Meeting held in Oslo, Norway, on 17–18 November 2025.
During the meeting, Mr. Verma shared a comprehensive briefing on the conference deliberations, which highlighted the growing importance of bioenergy in the global clean-energy transition. He also updated the Ambassador on India’s active contribution toward shaping discussions on innovation, sustainability, and enhanced international cooperation in the sector.
The interaction underscored India’s commitment to working closely with global partners to advance renewable energy solutions and support long-term climate and energy goals.
