Shri Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, inaugurated the newly established AYUSH Information Cell established at the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt. It is the first such resource centre in Germany as India commemorates Amrit Mahotsav and a step towards realizing PM Shri Narendra Modi’s vision amritkaal or 25 years up to 2047 for a stronger and self-reliant India.
In his address, Spl. Secretary Shri Pathak provided an overview of various activities of Ministry of AYUSH in particular the ‘Yoga for millennials’ and yoga break for working professionals. He also invited everyone to join the special Ayurveda month with a series of activities being planned till Dhanteras as part of Ayurveda month to showcase importance of Aahaar or balanced diet as per Ayurveda in promoting health and wellness. Many Yoga and Ayurveda experts were present at the event and provided their constructive suggestions to further expand the rising popularity of Yoga and Ayurveda in Germany.
