New Ambassador Shri Gurjit Singh presented his credentials today to Hon’ble President of the Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck accrediting him as the Ambassador of Republic of India to Federal Republic of Germany.
During the ceremony, Ambassador had tete-a-tete with the honorable President. President recalled his visits to India and the positive developments in Indo-German bilateral relations.
Ambassador referred to the stead-fast partnership between India and Germany, the high level meetings between Prime Minister of India and German Chancellor on several occasions in last year and the positive intent on both sides to further expand the growing relationship.
Given the immense opportunities in India and the positive signs of growth in both India and Germany, Ambassador said that he was confident that the intent of our leaders will be fulfilled and implemented.
