Celebrating #IncredibleIndia — where timeless traditions meet world-class hospitality!
On the sidelines of India’s participation in the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025 in London, @hcilondon hosted a special reception at India House to honour the vibrancy, diversity, and innovation that define India’s tourism landscape.
The event was graced by Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Diya Kumari, Minister for Tourism of Andhra Pradesh Kandula Durgesh, Minister for Tourism of Madhya Pradesh Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, and Minister for Tourism of Goa Rohan Khaunte. Representatives from 13 Indian States and Union Territories, IRCTC, and industry leaders from India and the UK also joined the celebration.
High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami, in his address, highlighted tourism as a vital bridge that fosters cultural exchange, artistic collaboration, and people-to-people ties — shaping our shared multicultural world. He noted that tourism is also a key driver of economic growth, where India and the UK can harness their natural synergies to promote the unique offerings of India’s diverse states — each a proud custodian of the nation’s cultural heritage.
Guests were treated to a series of stunning visual showcases reflecting the breadth of #IncredibleIndia — from Rajasthan’s royal grandeur and Andhra Pradesh’s pristine coastlines, to Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to sustainable tourism and Goa’s laid-back coastal charm. The evening also celebrated India’s artistic and culinary excellence, featuring glimpses of Kerala’s serene backwaters, Telangana’s vibrant crafts, and the timeless rhythms of Indian classical arts.
