Government of India Issues Travel Advisory for OCI Cardholders Arriving in India

The Government of India has issued an advisory for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders to help ensure a smooth and efficient arrival process at immigration checkpoints across the country.
OCI cardholders traveling to India are advised to carry their original OCI card, as digital copies will not be accepted at immigration counters. The original OCI document must be presented along with the passport upon arrival.
Travelers who have obtained a new passport after receiving their OCI card must update their passport details online through the OCI Miscellaneous Services portal before traveling. The update can be completed at:
https://ociservices.gov.in
To enable quicker immigration processing, travelers are encouraged to fill the e-Arrival Card at least 72 hours prior to departure. The form is available on the official website:

Passengers should also ensure that their passport contains at least two blank pages to meet immigration requirements.
The advisory further recommends OCI cardholders to enroll in the Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP) and complete biometric enrollment at the nearest Immigration/FRRO office. Registration for the program can be done at:
https://ftittp.mha.gov.in/fti/
The Government of India encourages all OCI travelers to complete these steps in advance to ensure a seamless and faster immigration experience when arriving in India.
