RutwikMulay young Indian cricketer died in Germany

World is loosing very nice people is less Age, Recently we lost IT employee in Bonn, not more than 10 days, People all are coming out of that shock,

Yesterday we lost a young Indian(Rutwik Mulay) in Munich with Heart Attack,

RutwikMulay finished his MBA in EU Business school Munich. He is very friendly person and sports Man, He participed many German cricket league matches, He was awarded as best bowler in many local tournaments and league Matches. He has gone through knee surgery recently, and things are on control, but all of sudden he got heart attack, We don’t no proper reason behind it, what ever is it, he must not be in that situation, Friends and colleagues all of them can’t accept it, He will be remembered ever in Munich till we all play cricket.

According to his close friends information his mother wants to visit Germany once and see where her son used to played cricket and his room, It was her last wish, No words if we remember her.

Memories  from his cricket club where he used to play and his friends.

A Champion gone too soon…..

Very rarely does one ever come across a teammate who lives by the moniker ‘Cometh the hour, cometh the man’ every single time. Be it defending a paltry total of 120 by single handedly decimating the opposition with a magical spell of 5/18 or be it taking the team teetering at 90/8 to a match-winning total of 172 with a sublime knock of 88

while batting with the tail or be it plucking a ball out of thin air at deep mid-wicket while running backwards to change the course of a match. Rutwik unfailingly always put his hand up whenever the chips were down. Still, he had no air about himself and was a team man to the core, running all the way from mid-off to give his teammate a pat on his back when he made an impressive save at point and was almost always the first person to turn up for the Friday practice sessions. His energy was infectious and would always give his 110% be it the first ball of the innings or be it the opposition needing only 5 runs to win with 7 wickets in hand – his shoulders never drooped. He played hard and aggressive on field but will be the first to go and share a beer with the opposition after the match was over. Thus, making friends all over the cricket circuit in Munich. For Munich Lions Cricket Club, as a match winner, there was Rutwik, then there was broad daylight and then the rest. Put simply, he was our Sobers.

We will miss you brother. We will miss your presence on the ground. We will miss your antics during our post match beer sessions. We will miss your friendship and most of all we will miss that mischievous smile of yours.

The No. 17 shirt is retired from MLCC. It shall forever remain yours and there will always be an empty slot in the MLCC squad sheet.

Great lives are not to be mourned, but rather celebrated. Thus, we will always celebrate your short but impactful innings with us and we will continue to look up at the sky for inspiration whenever the going gets tough. Don’t forget to share your tips!!

Keep shining brother, wherever you are and keep hurling those yorkers in at the Garden of Eden. Cheers!
