T India and Pakistan Agree to Ceasefire: DGMO Talks Yield Positive Outcome.
In a significant step towards de-escalation, the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMO) of India and Pakistan engaged in a crucial conversation today at 15:35 hours IST. Both sides mutually agreed to cease all forms of firing and military activities across land, air, and sea starting from 17:00 hours IST.
This decision reflects a shared commitment to maintaining peace and reducing tensions along the border. Orders have been issued on both sides to implement this understanding immediately.
Further discussions are scheduled to continue, with the DGMOs set to speak again on 12th May at 1200 hours IST, reinforcing their intent to sustain dialogue and build trust.
