An engaging side event on “New Opportunities for Space Technology Partnership” was held today on the sidelines of #COPUOS2025 in Vienna, bringing together global voices from the space community.

🔹 Shri M. Ganesh Pillai, Scientific Secretary, ISRO, presented a comprehensive overview of India’s dynamic space programme and technological capabilities.

🔹 Ms. Aarti Holla-Maini, Director of UNOOSA, emphasized the importance of putting people and the planet at the heart of space policy and action.

🔹 Ambassador Shambhu Kumaran highlighted India’s unique developmental approach in space and its emerging role as a trusted partner for both developed and developing nations.

🔹 Mr. Sanjay Kumar (Geospatial World) and Mr. Aurélien Alexandre Pisseloup (Dhruva Space) shared insights into the vibrant and growing participation of Indian private players in the space ecosystem.

🌐 The session saw active participation from over 70 attendees, including diplomats, policymakers, and domain experts from across the globe — all keen on unlocking the future of international space partnerships.
