New lockdown rules in Poland from May 1st 2021

May 1st (Saturday)

  • Hairdressing and beauty salons open
  • Outdoor sport facilities open (up to 50 people)
  • Indoor sport facilities and swimming pools open for organised groups (50% occupancy)

May 4th (Tuesday)

  • Art galleries and museums open (1 person/15m2 and sanitary regime)
  • Shopping malls, DIY stores open (1 person/15m2 and sanitary regime)
  • Religious objects – 1 person/15m2 and sanitary regime 1-3 grades of primary school coming back to stationary learning

 

May 8th (Saturday)

  • Hotels open – 50% occupancy, hotel restaurants and wellness&spa zones remain closed

May 15th (Saturday)

  • MOST PROBABLY the obligation of wearing face masks in the outdoor spaces will be removed – nevertheless wearing masks indoors remains in power until further notice
  • Restaurant gardens open (with persevering safe distance, lowered occupancy and sanitary regime)
  • Outdoor cinemas and theatres open Events and gatherings (weddings, etc) only outdoors,
  • up to 25 people, with persevering safe distance and sanitary regime Outdoor sports events with audience (25% occupancy) 4-8 grades of primary school and 1-4 grades of secondary school – hybrid learning

May 29th (Saturday)

  • Restaurants can welcome guests also indoors (with persevering safe distance, lowered occupancy and sanitary regime)
  • Events and gatherings (weddings, etc) can be held also indoors, up to 50 people, with persevering safe distance and sanitary regime
  • Cinemas and theatres open (50% occupancy) All sports facilities and swimming pools open (50% occupancy including audience)
  • Gyms and fitness clubs open (1 person/15m2 and sanitary regime)
  • Primary and secondary schools coming back to stationary

Restrictions concerning crossing Polish border remain the same until further notice.
