The Indian team also paid a visit to the Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget), where they met with Mr. Nikolai Astrup, a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Business and Industry, and Ms. Trine Lise Sundnes, a member of parliament and the head of the Joint EEA and EFTA Parliamentary Committee. They thanked them for the Norwegian Parliament’s support in advancing India-Norway relations and informed them of the parliamentary ratification process.
The Health and Care Service Minister, Mr. Jan Christian Vestre, also stopped by the meeting with lawmakers to greet the visiting delegation. The Indian side sent greetings from Mr. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and specifically praised his constructive and decisive contribution in the early conclusion of the TEPA negotiations.
