India Pays Tribute on Remembrance Day in Melbourne

Honouring the Brave: Remembrance Day in Melbourne ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

Lest We Forget!ย
Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar attended the Remembrance Day Service at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, paying homage to the courageous men and women who laid down their lives in service to their nations during the World Wars and in subsequent conflicts.

The solemn ceremony brought together dignitaries, veterans, and members of the public in a collective moment of reflection and gratitude. Dr. Kumar laid a wreath on behalf of India, honouring the valour and sacrifice of the thousands of Indian soldiers who fought bravely alongside Allied forces in distant lands, upholding ideals of freedom, peace, and humanity.

The event highlighted the shared history and enduring bond between India and Australia, forged through courage, sacrifice, and mutual respect. It also served as a reminder of the importance of peace, unity, and remembrance โ€” values that transcend borders and generations.
