India Makes a Strong Debut at Nor-Shipping 2025

Hon’ble Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, alongside Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon, inaugurated the India Pavilion—marking India’s first-ever participation at the prestigious Nor-Shipping summit.

The pavilion spotlighted India’s growing maritime capabilities, featuring top players like Cochin Shipyard, GRSE, Goa Shipyard, L&T, and several innovative MSMEs. Key highlights included advancements in shipbuilding, port infrastructure, marine technology, and the showcase of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) from Lothal.
