Ambassador Vani Rao and Consul General Lavanya Kumar visited Consorzio RFX, Padova, a key partner of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) and home to the Neutral Beam Test Facility.
During the visit, they were briefed on the advanced research and global collaborative efforts toward clean, sustainable and limitless fusion energy.
ITER-India, operated by the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar, is one of the shareholders of the RFX Consortium and plays a vital role by supplying critical equipment to the ITER project — showcasing India’s strong contribution to cutting-edge science and international scientific partnerships.
