Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz held productive one-to-one and delegation-level talks in Gandhinagar, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthen and elevate the India–Germany Strategic Partnership.
Discussions covered key pillars of cooperation including defence & security, trade and economy, technology, innovation & research, education, green energy, skilling, mobility, and people-to-people ties. As the world’s 3rd and 4th largest economies, India and Germany are natural partners working together for global stability and shared prosperity.
Several MoUs/understandings were exchanged/adopted across diverse sectors—opening new avenues of collaboration and creating opportunities for people and businesses, especially the youth.
