โ€ขNo evacuation plan. Advised to stay where you are.

โ€ข If you are in India and VISA expires during a lockdown: you have to apply for a re-entry visa(wiedereinreise visum). You need to extend it after reaching Germany.

โ€ข If you are in Germany and VISA expires during a lockdown: visa extension is possible when Auslanderbehorde is operational. Please watch out for their announcements. Some Auslanderbehorde is issuing fiktionsbeschienigung through email/post.

โ€ขFinancial help for students: In cases of hardship, studierendenwerk BERLIN provides support in emergency situations to enable a successful course of studies, in particular, to prevent students from dropping out of their studies. From this emergency fund, they are now providing financial aid for those students who have lost their income due to the coronavirus crisis and need quick support. This has only been confirmed from Berlin “Studentenwerk(Link). Please check your respective studentenwerk and ASTA/Stura pages for more info.
