Germany removes Brazil from List Of Virus Variant Areas Entry Restrictions

Brazilians with a valid German Visa will finally be allowed to travel to Germany from Sunday, Aug 22. After authorities removed Brazil’s status as a virus area, they now consider it a high-risk zone. The Robert Koch Institute in Germany, which is both a federal agency and a research institute, has removed Uruguay from the list. This means that any arrivals from those countries will be subject to facilitated entry rules. Quarantine may be terminated in any case once the negative test results have been submitted. The German authorities explained that if you have been in high-risk areas prior to entry, the relevant test cannot be performed earlier than five days following entry.
