Composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1875, Vande Mataram became a rallying cry for unity, strength, and love for the motherland. Its verses celebrate India as the divine mother — nurturing, powerful, and eternal — symbolising our nation’s cultural and spiritual essence.
