EOI in Brussels, is hiring part-time Teachers. To each Indian Art Forms (Sitar, Tabla, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, and Vocal) at the Embassy premises. The position involves 4 hours of classes per month, with working days from Monday to Sunday. Classes are scheduled to begin the week of April 1, 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- The candidate must be a citizen of the host country or possess NRI status with a valid work permit.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
- A minimum of a 3-year degree with 3 years of experience, or a 2-year diploma/certificate or equivalent training in the relevant field from a renowned institution/Guru with at least 4 years of experience.
- A strong understanding of the history, philosophy, and traditions of Indian music, dance, art, and culture.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching the relevant art form.
- Strong skills in using computers, including recording/downloading audio/video, mixing, and editing videos from platforms like YouTube or the internet.
- Experience in giving performance or lecture demonstrations.
- Ability to produce stage programs, choreograph, and prepare for examinations.
- Initiative, leadership, and a commitment to helping students reach their personal best, with high expectations for progress and behavior.
Age Limit:
25 to 50 years
An honorarium will be provided on a per-hour basis.
