The Consulate General of India, Edinburgh held a welcome reception for new Indian students joining Scottish universities.
Students were inspired by a live address from High Commissioner Shri Vikram Doraiswami, who urged them to excel in studies and contribute to nation-building.
The event showed how the Consulate acts as a ‘home away from home’, offering help and guidance to students during their time in Scotland.
Speakers from INSA Scotland, Scottish Government, SIAF (Scottish Indian Arts Forum), and the University of Edinburgh shared useful insights on student life, well-being, and opportunities in Scotland.
